The PartikelART TracePad is a specially engineered adhesive pad used to extract particulate contamination from component surfaces, tools, and ambient environments. It captures particles consistently and reproducibly, forming the foundation for a reliable and standardized analysis workflow.
Place the TracePad onto the component surface to be tested. Apply uniform pressure to ensure complete contact. Peel back gently to lift particles from the surface. Place the TracePad onto the Lightbox scan area and launch the LensApp to begin analysis.

No. TracePads are single-use consumables. Reusing a pad would compromise the particle count and analysis accuracy.
The system can detect particles from approximately 25 µm upwards, consistent with VDA 19.1 and ISO 16232 requirements.
